This is a spot for iPod that I worked on at Logan back in 2005. It was the first iPod commercial that broke away from the famed black silhouette-on-solid color scheme. The exploration of how to elevate an immensely iconic design to a new level presented both an interesting and exciting challenge for me.

Produced at Logan.

I developed a concept and designed these frames for the feature marketing trailer of Prince of Persia. After reading the script, I was most intrigued with exploring the mysterious relic at the center of the story and its powers to control time.

Starting first at ground level and then slowly rising as over a vast desert landscape, the journey begins over an ocean of sand. Gradually, the camera rises first to see the entire region, then continents, followed by the entire earth which appears to be suspended in a cloud of dust. As the camera pulls back, the entire planet becomes but a spec of grain caught in a vast continuum of sand. Vignettes of epic historical moments materialize in the ribbon, ultimately spiraling in violent vortex unto a singularity; the radiant glimmer disippates revealing that its final container is the Dagger of Time.

Produced at Imaginary Forces.

This is the opening sequence for Bravo's new show about Tabatha Coffey, the charismatic former contestant on Bravo's Sheer Genius. The show follows her as she visits struggling salons in the Los Angeles and New York areas and literally takes over the establishments to whip them into shape. The open depicts a messy salon magically transformed into a slick new studio. I was the sole modeler (except for some found geometry), texturer, animator, and compositor.

The end title sequence for The Spiderwick Chronicles takes us through scenes from film in a series of whimsical vignettes. This was a heavily collaborative project in which different designers and animators took on different shots which were ultimately strung together as grand tapestry. I had a role in executing several of the scenes scenes in varying capacities including modeling, texturing, lighting, animating, and compositing.

"Origins" deals with human migration and is a part of an online media series called Macros. Imaginary Forces consulted historian Joel Kotkin on the trends of human migration. Diasporas, or group migrations, have throughout history dictated the explosion of culture and science in specific regions of the world. My role was to visualize and execute an abstract representation of the ideas discussed in an effort to offer a new approach of exploring this phenomenon and attempting to predict where it will take us next.

Imaginary Forces: "The real American heroes make their big screen debut this summer in the live action adaptation of the beloved 80's cartoon series. Paramount Pictures came to IF to design the trailer graphics and title reveal for G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra."

I worked on the previsualization and 3D animation of the megalithic title. The Cobra is ominously reflected on the type for a brief foreboding moment.

Directed by Ronnie Koff. Produced at Imaginary Forces.

Imaginary Forces created a few spots for Scion by placing running footage in the hands of virtuoso editor Justine Gerenstein. My role was to create and composite a toolkit of light and graphic elements that accentuated the footage to elevate the visual impact of this high-energy spot.

Produced at Imaginary Forces.
