Cinema Tuesdays at the Montalbán Theater
Based on a single style frame designed by Colourmovie's Brandon Martinez, I was given the freedom to create a fantastic world of props, flora, and the occasional cameo in this theatrical show open. A one-man job, I modeled (with some help from TurboSquid), textured, and animated this little gem over an intermittent period between projects during my tenure at Colourmovie. The entire project was created in a single Cinema 4D scene and edited via stage objects. (The toon-shaded opening sequence as well as the Pyrocluster-generated clouds were the only elements to be composited separately.) The final lockup emulates the posterized official logo. Music excellently scored by John McGinnis who recorded all the instrumentals and vocals.
